The challenges faced by children and families disrupted by COVID-19 have taken a toll on our physical and mental well-being. Now imagine having to deal with a child battling cancer during this time! Participate and raise funds for the Larger Than Life Canada Wellness Challenge in support of scholarships for our new Be’er Sheva Kindergarten of Dreams, an educational and rehabilitative center in Israel for children undergoing treatment or recovering from cancer. This facility caters to the unique needs of these children, offering them the ability to participate in activities in a completely sterile and state of the art environment.
Between Nov. 26th and Dec. 6th, during Channukah, take the time to do your own wellness activities such as walking, running, cycling, practicing yoga/meditation, dancing, lifting weights, do a HIIT workout, learn how to fuel your mind and body through better nutrition, or any activity that encourages you to attain better physical and mental health. Since its founding in 2016, Larger Than Life Canada works with its partner organizations and international agents to improve the lives and welfare of children in Israel afflicted with cancer and providing support for their families. Larger Than Life Canada’s and its partners’ activities annually assist approximately 1,500 children with cancer, some terribly ill and all fighting for their lives. Our dedicated teams and volunteers accompany the children and their families from the initial diagnosis to years post recovery
