Each year, more than 1500 children in Israel are diagnosed with cancer. Treatments may span between one to to years requiring DNA testing, medications, innovative treatments and medical equipment, many of which are not covered under the public health medical coverage.
In many cases families risk their economic future and property to finance these items. No child’s future should be at risk because the family cannot afford to purchase the necessary medications or treatments.
