“Sailing Back To Life” (Bechorim B’chayim) is a Larger Than Life program that supports young adults recovering from cancer as they transition back into normal life.
After mastering the skills they’ve learned in the monthly workshops, the program culminates with the group travelling to Holland to sail the North Sea. They sail the ship on their own, doing all that is required as a unit: setting the sails, cooking, cleaning, and boat maintenance.
This year 27 young adults participated in this sailing adventure in the Netherlands. This group is charting their own course for their new lives!
