The Larger Than Life 2021 Summer Camp included 2 sessions of fun, laughter, great experiences, crazy attractions, learning and pushing personal boundaries. We are grateful that we were able to adjust our camp this year to incorporate all COVID-19 protocols, keeping these children with compromised immune systems safe, and to offer them the opportunity to celebrate the summer just like any child.
This year it was important for them to forget about hospitals and treatments, enjoy time with friends who understand what they are going through without uttering a word, and also to give parents a little break and rest from the intensity of caring for a child with cancer, knowing that the children were in the safe hands.
Thank you to the dozens of amazing people who made this camp possible, the volunteers, the workshop presenters and entertainers, and to all the people of Moshav Harut for caring and helping tirelessly with our wonderful staff to make these children’s dreams come true!
